Nardia joined the Firm in 2018 as an Associate Solicitor having completed her training in 2010 at another well-known firm in Chelmsford. Nardia then gathered a further 8 years matrimonial and family law experience in other firms, building upon her specialism. Her understanding of family law , matched with her realistic and client-focused approach, ensures that clients are able to reach the best conclusions for themselves and their families.
Nardia can advise upon a wide range of family and matrimonial issues, including co-habitation and pre-nuptial agreements, disputes between cohabitees, financial settlements and divorce alongside providing guidance in relation to children and dependants of the family. Nardia has the ability to advise in respect of cases where complex and substantial assets may be involved.
As a member of Resolution ( a nationwide association of lawyers specialising in family law), Nardia’s approach is to encourage clients to attempt resolve disagreements as amicably as possible, taking steps to instigate proceedings only where necessary for the benefit her clients. She prides herself in being highly approachable and realistic with all her clients which she finds helps clients find conclusions that fit their needs in a cost-effective way. It is important to Nardia that her clients feel in control at all times, and that their objectives are met with empathy and understanding.
Outside of work Nardia enjoys spending time with her Husband and children, especially in the garden. She is a keen cake decorator and is undergoing a course to qualify as a psychotherapist in her spare time.
